About the Role

The successful candidate will be working as part of an exciting initiative in empowering the data science (modeling) team. Based in our modern offices in the Irving, TX, Livonia, MI, London, ON or Manchester, UK. You will be working to automate data processes, transform

data where required, and help analyse both the consumer behaviour and competitive intensity in a market. Your work will be built on behalf of our retail chains, restaurants, healthcare providers, financial institutions, fuel/c-store, and other clients. Kalibrate is looking for someone with experience in processing data and aspires to develop their skills, take on more complex challenges and develop into a more senior role. We are also looking for somebody with the ability to edit and/or create custom reports in both Alteryx and Excel as well as create demographics summaries on behalf of clients. This is an entry level position with a lot of potential of growth within our company.



Job requirements

Required Skills & Experience:


  • Ability to carry-out manual data entry quickly and accurately where automation is not possible
  • Working knowledge of Alteryx
  • Comfort using excel (Pivot tables & lookups)
  • Prepare comprehensive and detailed reports
  • Manage large quantities of complex data
  • Manage multiple analyses and priorities
  • Motivated and eager to learn
  • Problem solving skills
  • An analytical mind with logical thinking ability
  • Analyse/interpret data and present results using established methods
  • Evaluation of coverage and accuracy of data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Experience using GIS & Spatial ETL tools such as QGIS & ArcGIS
  • Understanding of statistical concepts including correlation, variance, significance, and predictive model fitting.
  • Experience in programming with statistical languages – including R and Python
  • Comfortable with ambiguity

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline, including Economics, Geography, Statistics,

Mathematics, Decision Sciences, or other related fields


This role has a solid benefits package with health insurance, paid time off and pension scheme. We have an office in Dallas or Livonia. The preference is for a hybrid work set-up, however, we are open to discussing a remote option. The salary for this role is around $50 USD.
