What is the role?
The Delivery Engineer will ensure a smooth and seamless SaaS application implementation for our clients and the continuous improvement of the implementation process.
You are the ‘go to' technical person responsible for providing technical advice and guidance to our internal teams and customers. Working autonomously, you help install and configure a range of technical solutions liaising closely with Delivery, Project teams and other key stakeholders from across the business in addition to directly with our customers.
Job requirements
Technical Essential
· Relational Database Experience. Preferably Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL –
advanced data analysis, manipulation, and managing schemas/tables, stored
procedures, triggers, and functions)
· Experience in basic Windows Server administration, such as using RDP to
connect to servers, transfer files, monitor performance
· Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
Technical Skills Highly Desirable
· Alteryx Designer
· Working with Azure/AWS PaaS/SaaS services, specifically API Gateway
· Single Sign On integration
· Microsoft .NET technology stack
· Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software such as MapInfo Professional,
ESRI ArcGIS, or QGIS
· Atlassian Suite: Jira, Confluence, Tempo, etc.
Non-Technical Essential
· Ability to quickly learn new processes in an ever changing software world
· Gather, analyse, specify and validate business needs from stakeholders
· Successful delivery of time-sensitive projects with high attention to detail of
project specifications
· Strong team-work ethic, open to sharing knowledge and promoting growth
within a globally distributed organization
· Strong ‘can-do’ attitude and ‘customer service’ ethic, putting the customer
first
· Strong and plan focused personality that can manage difficult customer
situations where necessary to obtain a positive outcome
