Role
The New Business Sales Executive will have a significant impact on the business performance and revenue growth of Kalibrate. This position plays a lead role in:
o Delivering revenue through closing net new software and services sales with prospective clients.
o Taking the lead in establishing relationships with prospective new clients.
o Performing due diligence through all stages of the sales cycle to ensure successful and profitable engagements with prospective clients.
o Generating interest across a range of prospective clients in a nominated territory to support Kalibrate with its on-going business development and growth objectives.
o Working to support the growing presence of Kalibrate in target sectors Reporting directly to SVP, Customer – Fuel & Mobility Retail Solutions, you will be responsible for developing and driving successful sales cycles culminating in the signing of net new business in accordance within the Kalibrate standard sales processes
What you’ll be doing
o Deliver net new business sales within the industry sectors and territories designated to them to meet their sales targets.
o Convert sales leads passed from marketing activity into live sales engagements and ultimately signed commitments.
o Research and generate own leads and contacts to support the above and identify opportunities for further net new business sales.
o Meet sales targets on a quarterly basis defined by the SVP, Customer – Fuel & Mobility Retail.
o Manage the RFI / RFP process on sales opportunities with prospective clients.
o Provide high-level strategic planning and detailed opportunity / deal management to prospective clients
o Retain overall responsibility during the sales cycle to prospective clients and align with appropriate internal stakeholders to facilitate on-boarding and transition.
o Negotiate terms of software evaluations, project / consulting services and subscription agreements.
o Ensure legal terms and conditions of contract documents have been reviewed and approved within Kalibrate prior to signature.
o Follow the requirements of Kalibrate’s sales process, maintaining the prescribed tracking and forecasting in the CRM as well as other requirements as defined and updated from time to time
o Produce and publish sales visit reports following each prospective client meeting. o Aid in the development of sales support materials, including presentations. o Promote open communication and teamwork across internal stakeholder groups working on opportunities.
Job requirements
Who are we looking for?
o Experience of net new business software sales in a commercial and relevant industry environment.
o Experience directly in retail fuel and convenience an advantage.
o Direct sales experience selling to C-Level and Middle Management personnel. o Experience of selling net new high value deals through complex sales cycles that combine SaaS and Service components.
o Strong time management skills and ability to respond well to time pressures and deadlines.
o Strong conceptual, analytical and judgement skills
o Good communication and presentation abilities – both written and oral.
o Skilled at establishing, understanding and articulating prospective client needs.
o Skilled at negotiating and closing deals.
o Demonstrable skills in developing prospective client relationships to deliver incremental business value.
o Demonstrate internal and external stakeholder management and influencing skills.
o Prepared to travel extensively including spending the necessary time away from home.
o Proficiency in the use of PCs, Windows, MS Office tools and relevant AI tools.
